The Technology behind Contaminant Removal of the Tap Water FilterUpdated 5 months ago

As illustrated in the accompanying diagram, our advanced filtration process meticulously removes impurities, delivering you the highest quality water for a healthier and more enjoyable experience. Here's the science behind our advanced 5-stage nanofiltering technology:

(1) Polypropylene Mesh

Wrapped around the carbon block, it filters out the largest micro-organisms, sediment, rust, scale and other impurities. It also prevents human hands contaminating the carbon block when replacing it.

(2) Activated Carbon Adsorption

The activated carbon made from coconut shells removes organic chemical matter at nanoparticle level incl chlorine, chlorine byproducts (VOCs, THMs, HAAs, etc.), tastes, odours, pesticides, herbicides, PFAs and over 80 other contaminants. It also reduces the quantity of heavy metals like lead, copper and mercury, among others.

(3) Carbon Block Microfiltering

The carbon block traps particles larger than 1–2 microns. This prevents microplastics, particles in suspension and most bacteria passing through the filter. It also prevents the rust particles and bacteria that build up in water pipes entering the filter.

(4) Removes Limescale and Heavy Metals

The carbon block houses our patented formula, the result of long years of research and of which we are extremely proud. It breaks down the mineral to prevent limescale forming, as well as trapping any remaining heavy metals.

(5) Sieve

Filters out hair, sand, dirt and other impurities commonly found in household water pipes.
