Welcome to our Tap Water Filter FAQ section! We're here to provide you with all the information you need to ensure you get the best performance and experience from your water filter. Whether you're a new user looking for setup instructions, an experienced user seeking maintenance tips, or just curious about how our filters work, you'll find the answers to your questions here.
How does the Tap Water Filter Work?
The Tap Water Filter uses the highest quality coconut shell-based carbon-block filter, used for maximum filtering of chemicals and improvement of taste. You can easily install them directly on the tap without tools and simply switch between filtered and unfiltered water with a lever.

When should I change the refill?
The refill cartridge should be changed every 2 months or every 300L, whichever comes first.
How do I dispose the refill?
It should be placed in the general waste bin. But can it be given a second life? Of course! Here are 3 ideas:
- Put the dry activated carbon block in a sock and leave it wherever you want it to be odour-free: your fridge, bathroom, car, old slippers, drawers, your pet's bed, etc.
- Put the activated carbon block in a sock and leave it in areas where mould grows.
- Crush the activated carbon block and mix it into compost or soil. Not only will it sit passively in the soil but will aerate it and retain water.
Give it a try and help save the planet! 💚
Can I use warm/hot water through the filter?
We don't recommend warm/hot water passing through the filter as it can lead to bacteria growth. If you wish to use warm/hot water (for washing dishes etc), ensure that the lever is switched to unfiltered mode.
